Day One: We Hit The Road 300 miles down

Ready to roll.  The bike will never be this clean again.
We left the house at 12:30 and headed out to Casper WY.  It was 90 degrees when we took off.  Much later we hit a wind storm.  Holy crap!  50 mph winds hitting us directly broadside.  OK I can keep the bike on the road even if we are leaning at a 30 degree slant.  The weather Gods were not done yet.  "Let's throw in some rain just for giggles".  The rain drops hit our faces like shards of glass while the wind continued to try and rip my helmet off with my head still in it.   Beverly didn't say much.  I think she passed out with fear.  We pulled over at a rest stop and waited for the rain to stop.  It did but the wind was with us for another 100+ miles untill we reached Casper WY.  Our safe haven is the Motel 6, a real 5 star resort.  They even have towels that dry you off while exfoliating your skin.  The place we had dinner had two for one beer Happy Hour and we took advantage.  Not too many pictures today cause there's not much to see in WY.  That's OK though.  You would just see pictures of me screaming and Beverly covering her eyes.  Tomorrow will be a better weather day and we head for Montana.
Two for one? Redemption for Wyoming.
